An overnight backpacking trip takes me to one of the most unique wilderness areas in the Rockies, with throngs of aspens and hulking granite formations. Starting from the Lost Park trailhead, I camp near Refrigerator Gulch and summit Bison Mountain, the wilderness highpoint. This is a delightful slice of subalpine Eden for those wanting a little distance from the more crowded parts of Colorado’s mountains. #outdoors #wilderness #hiking #mountains #backpacking #colorado
