This song is a remake of a much older track I made, entitled "Backhanded". The original track was made as a fun battle theme for a friend at the time, and was eventually remade by @disciplesoforggannick .

This version was made in late 2024 as a reimagining of the track with new sections, and was originally intended for an album I had planned at the time. It was commissioned by FrizzleFrazzle, but with little to no input or restrictions, meaning I had full creative freedom here.
Backhanded is a very personal song to me, and this version aims to be reflective of the past. However, it is not a finished statement or completely indicative of my feelings surrounding the time I was in Disciples of Orggannick, nor the events which followed. I would like to someday finish the album and close this chapter for good.
To anyone who knew me during that time: I am truly sorry for the way things turned out, and regret that we could not remain friends. There is more I could say, but this is not the right place. I hope you're doing well. Thank you for the time we had.
