A scrapbooking collaboration series with my scrappy friend Moira O"Reilly.

We are using our tools to create our backgrounds on the 16th of each month. If you want to have a go, tag us #backgroundbasics16 so we can see what you've been doing.

We shall only be using plain coloured cardstock, no patterned paper. Grab those stamps, stencils, punches, and dies! Embellishments and alphas are allowed!

Today's layout is a 6x8 page for my Christmas album documenting Christmas jumper day here in the UK.

Silver card mounted with white card form the base of the layout. Patterned paper created using stamps from Technique Tuesday, Hero Arts, Hunkydory, Shimelle, and Clearly Kelly. Ranger Archival ink pads.

A puffy sticker, wood advent tree, "December" flair from The Flair Hut finished with white metallic twine and glitter domes.

White dots added using Ranger enamel accents.
