We recently ran OUR FIRST ULTRAMARATHON - the Bigfoot 50k.

This was a bucket-list experience for us, and running 31 miles in mud, rain, wind, and hills was no joke. We sit down and discuss the experience, our highs and lows, how gear and training worked out for us, and how difficult this truly was. We also got sent some new goodies from Vargo, and do some "unboxing" of their new fire-box grill.

The ultramarathon was truly an experience, and one we'll never forget. It's now time to switch gears BACK to winter backpacking and specifically our favorite - hot tenting. Pour a drink and enjoy!
