With the Colorado Trail in the rear view mirror, it's time to start looking ahead to the most epic hike we have ever done - the Tahoe Rim Trail.

The TRT is a 170-mile backpacking loop that circumnavigates the mountainous ridge encircling Lake Tahoe. We are heading out there later this summer to do 7 days on the trail, and hike the vast majority of it.
