Back to the 80s is the musical comedy of a graduating class from William Ocean High School as they live through their senior year and experience the fun, the heartbreak and the loves of growing up.
Set in the era when bubble skirts were cool, Atari was cutting edge technology and mobile phones were as big as bricks, the cast of 30 and an 8 piece rock band perform dozens of the best 80s songs, including; Material Girl -- Walking On Sunshine -- Kids In America -- Love Shack -- Total Eclipse Of The Heart -- Wake Me Up Before You Go Go -- Girls Just Want To Have Fun -- (I've Had) The Time Of My Life & Video Killed The Radio Star.
Directed by Chris Hamley, choreographed by Kristy Baker & with musical direction from Andrew Morrisby, this high energy, hairspray heavy mega-musical opens at the Theatre Royal, October 19 for 12 performances.
