Here are the ways we are getting ready for back to school!
1. Organize clothes! Make sure they are folded neatly and only the ones that fit are in the drawer. Create bags to donate and then purchase new clothes that they need for school if necessary. (My son needed a few new pairs of shorts).
2. Gather school supplies. We went to Target and purchased all the supplies we needed for each child based on what the teacher asked for. Be sure to label everything with the childs' name.
3. Make anything that needs to be handmade. My son needed 2 pencil pouches. He got one at Target that he liked for $3 but he didn't like any of the other ones so I told him I would make him one with whatever fabric he wanted.
My daughter needed a king size pillow case for a nap mat at the school and even at Target they were $24-$28 which I thought was WAY too expensive so I used this flannel I already had on hand.
4. Purchase anything you wish you had last year ;). I want to do a little better job of lunches this year, so I purchased this set of tuperware at Target in the back to school section for fresh fruits and veggies etc.

5. Have fun! Soak up the last few days of summer! We took the kids to the beach and we will be headed to the fair and a baseball game before school gets going.
