lovely listeners…i thought i’d surprise you with a new song release today. :) IJAWO was nice enough to ask me to be featured in this track of his. featured songs step a littttle outside of my main “sound”, but these collaborations are so inspiring for me to be a part of. these lyrics are especially meaningful to me. IJAWO wanted the song’s theme to be based around authenticity; that feeling when you can be unapologetically “you.” many of you know that this theme is connected to a very personal journey for me, so i wanted to share some of that journey with you in the lyrics. i wanted to remind you that there are so many people out there who will love you for all that you are, & will never ask you to be anything different from that. xo, r.
