Well, the storyline is pretty obvious - it's the canon one between River & The Doc, but why this song? Because everytime I see them, everytime I see them together, it doesn't feel like they're meeting in opposite directions... to me it looks as if, first The Doctor then River, are slowly losing the memories of one another and, therefore, losing trust into each other.


The video is from both's points of view, but it's in the Doctor's chronological order... he doesn't know who River is, he meets and gets to know her, finding out who she really is. Then, after he's learnt to trust her, he meets Mels who doesn't have the slightest clue who he is to her, beside her sworn enemy. Mels turns into River, she turns good and her timeline starts... but the more she goes on, the more she only meets the Doctor backwards - until the day he doesn't have the slightest clue who she is.

And this makes me cry.
