As for short lore: Cream Pie used to date Apollo ( ex-bf, but still friends), and obviously, it didn't work out for a few reasons, Cream Pie felt backstabbed when he was dumped and Apollo got someone else the next day while Pie has put himself in danger for him ( taking a bullet for him during missions, as they are also partners in crime). Due to him being an alien, he heals fast in comparison to Apollo or any other human, but still felt betrayed that he was replaced so quickly.
