EXAMS CANNOT DESTROY ME
Ok so basically if you're wondering where I've been for like two months, school has been DESTROYING all of my hopes of having any consistent stream / upload schedule, but all of my exams are done now + school is gonna be finished in a couple of weeks, so I'll have as much time as possible to grind 4:54. This was my third day back of streaming, and I got back to back 4:54 pace runs to 8-2, which to my knowledge has never happened! I've now had 10 runs to the bullet, which I believe is more than Niftski has had, and I really believe I can get this soon. WATCH ON TWITCH TO NOT MISS THE 4:54.8

9 months (and 1 day) since I started doing 4:54 attempts, along with over 11 thousand attempts makes this potentially the longest grind for an SMB1 Any% record since AndrewG? Anyway, this run is pretty crazy - I took a two month break due to school, finally managed to fix my schedule, and got this after only 5 days of returning to the category. My fast accel consistency has been kinda terrible so I have zero clue how I managed to get pretty much two perfect accels in 8-4, but Im very very glad.
Not sure where Ill take this from here, but Ill almost certainly try to improve to at least a .8, and maybe go for lightning 4-2 some day...

Finally beat my year old pb in 8-4 il by a frame with a pretty dumb run, losing two frames in walljump room but saving it with frame 65 and +2 last room! Ill probably do some 8-A attempts in the future as practice for 4:54.7, but I dont intend to go any further than that really.
