I haven't gotten to ride much recently, but my fixed gear stays ready to go. No brakes to adjust, no gears to mess with, she just rolls. Rolls fast. Had this bike since I was 16 or 17.. its getting a bit small after 13 years but with the handle bar change its still comfortable enough for now. Riding through my old high school it reminded me of how much I used to ride, rely, and abuse this bike so I stopped to film for a minute. This bike has been stolen a couple times, gone through countless tires, at least 3 wheel sets, the only original parts are the frame / seat post.
I don't normally skid to stop, or really at all anymore on track bikes but its fun to destroy a tire time to time. With the added heat today, I could smell the rubber.
