Essentially, we have two Stradivarius's trumpets here, both with the 37 style bell; one made by Bach, and one by Holton. They sound similar, don't they? :) Played first with a Warburton 6MC cup with a 4* backbore, then with a GR64DF (Deep Flugel) mouthpieces. To me, the Holton seems to offer a slightly higer spectrum of overtones, but I can't be sure if the Bach offers more in the low to mid range, my hearing isn't that acute at this time. Still, two very nice trumpets, and the Holton is almost unknown compared to its excellent sounnd. Enjoy! :)
