Aside from perhaps the introduction to the first movement, this Sarabande presents the slowest music in the suite. Because of this, it may not exactly be the most "dance-like" piece, but it's certainly not lacking in beauty.
I'd even go as far as saying that it contains a certain quality of emotion that isn't present in either the dance preceding it or any of the ones that follow.
