... but I was working on a new way of displaying notes (called "mitosis"), and I wanted to try it out on a piece that was well-suited to it, one with fairly slow-moving stepwise notes, and I picked this one. When I was done developing the software, I thought the result was interesting enough to publish, even though it was a remake. It's easiest to follow the lines in this version (in which the four voices are identified by four colors) ...
