Netherlands Bach Society | Bach - Cantata In allen meinen Taten BWV 97 - Sato | Netherlands Bach Society @bach | Uploaded 1 year ago | Updated 8 hours ago
The text of this cantata was based on the hymn of the same name, written by poet Paul Fleming before undertaking a perilous diplomatic trade mission to Moscow. The words are brimming with boundless faith, and Bach adheres to them exactly, without the additions Bach usually commissioned for such chorale cantatas.
Recorded for the project All of Bach on 20 June 2022 at the Philharmonie Haarlem, the Netherlands. If you want to help us complete All of Bach, please subscribe to our channel bit.ly/2vhCeFB and consider donating bit.ly/3J5uprM.
