"It does no harm to listen to Bach from time to time, even if only from a hygienic standpoint." -- Sviatoslav Richter.
Today is my 1-year anniversary of opening a youtube account, so I wanted to play something special for the occasion. What could be more special than the Aria that begins and ends the 30 "Goldberg" Variations? It's the take-off into an extraordinary flight, and the safe landing back. Bach uses it to say "Hello" and later,"Goodnight". Today, I use it to say "Thank you". I never imagined anyone would listen to these little home videos, much less subscribe to hear more. Thank you.
