We were lucky to have one of Australia’s most intriguing game developers, Bennett Foddy at ACMI.

A rare dive deep into Foddy’s career and practice, from early experiments such as QWOP to his latest release Baby Steps, exploring the role of difficulty and frustration in games, the concept of “handmade”, the place for deliberate jank within game design and the challenge of evoking a true emotional response in the player.
