This was an exciting adventure for sure. Here's the story that goes with it. My mom lives next to a golf course pond. She has the best wildlife in the area making their homes in her yard, the shed, and yes occasionally even in the crawl space of her home. This little critter fell from the crawl space, down into a wall, and was stuck behind the drywall. Fortunately for this little one, it wasn't the first to do this. My mom purposely left a loose panel from the first two times this happened and so instead of being trapped, they can now get out of the wall through a loose panel. The wall is located inside a walk-in closet, and once the baby was discovered food and water were placed inside the room, in hopes the mother would come back. After 6 days with no return, we contacted the Tucson Wildlife Center, and they were more than happy to take Baby Racoon.
