This poor gentoo penguin chick has wandered away from its nest and got too close to another penguin that is extremely territorial. The three-week-old chick tries to hide anywhere it can to seek protection from the attack, but chooses the worst place to hide, under the belly of the attacking bird. Fortunately, it manages to escape and find safety beneath another nearby penguin who is much more tolerant of the intruder.
