These eleven baby opossums were orphaned when their mother was hit by a car. They were still in the pouch and survived. For the last three weeks they have been fed by inserting a tube into their stomachs and squeezing the milk directly in. Now that they are able to stand and their mouths have unsealed along the sides, they are starting to learn how to lap milk from a dish - it takes them a bit to figure it out, but in a few days they'll be pros.
