This is my second year raising chickens for meat. Last year I raised about 40 and butchered them myself on the homestead. I intend to butcher myself again this year, hopefully I'll be able to wrangle friends to help. I love learning about how to be more self sufficient and how to provide food for my family. I have 5 children and we homeschool and have been growing this hobby homestead for about 3 years.
