The events that followed showcased quick thinking, guidance, and professionalism that culminated in the safe delivery of the Kingsbury's baby, Cale Payton Kingsbury, who came into the world weighing 8.1lbs.
In a remarkable turn of events, Caitlin's water broke, and her contractions escalated as Cole pulled over along E-470 prior to Parker Road. Dispatcher Blinzler, drawing upon his experience, adeptly coached the couple through the birthing process, ultimately welcoming Cale into the world just after 6 p.m. on August 14, 2024.
"Both mom and Cale were transported to Sky Ridge Hospital for observation and are happy and healthy," said Blinzler. "I was glad to be able to assist in delivering Cale. It was a joy to meet Cole and Caitlin and witness the birth of their beautiful baby boy."
