The Mauritius-based band blends Indian Ocean’s historical rhythms with modern sounds bringing a contemporary rendition of the groove of its home island.
With recent appearances and collabs from around the world, Buddha Bar, On The Corner, Musique des Spheres, FPE Records and The Wire Magazine, Babani Soundsystem is now gearing up for upcoming releases on its own label, Babani Records.
