THE TRAITOR WITHIN US ● AUDITION RESULTS

$MD18 ● Antonio (Tulio) - 7.7% {HD for all the Spanish hotness ;D ) Were just children... rolling where we dont belong. Hey everyone!! Its such an honour to be again this year in MD!! All of the auditions were incredibly talented and all the characters interesting to see, so its such an honour! I must point out how INCREDIBLE all the contestants are. They are so nice and we have such a nice community going on. Having the possibility to work with many of my friends and to develop some new friendships is a privilege so Im super grateful for this opportunity!! That being said, lets go to the round itself! STORY: It all starts with a flashback of Antonio in his house, seeing his sisters praying (as stated in the audition, he is not very religious, but his sisters are. A LOT). Blanca (Snow White) has always prayed constantly, but specially during Plucking Day. Antonio never has/did, but he was terrified of aliens. Antonio is in a pod where he hears Mr. Bubbles message, customized in Spanish (I kept most of it in English, so everyone reading could understand!) , sees the red button, and his flag tag, and walks off. He meets many people there and doesnt always make a good first impression, but the moment he sees Emilia (Cinderella), his heart seems to be jumping out of his chest. She is extremely similar-looking to Marta (Katrina), her ex. Antonio still has deep feelings for her. With other contestants (Jim, Chel and Marina later on) he is trying to create a new gang like the one he had back on Earth with Antonio as its leader. Its a cope mechanism to feel like he is in charge again, in such an strange place. Antonio has this façade of tough guy as a mechanism to not let people see his vulnerable side. Later on, after talking with Tala (Chel), he accidentally drops his heart-shaped pendant, which contains two photos: one of his sisters, and one of Marta. Jonathan (John Smith) picks it up. His reason to his question to Cobra Bubbles is quite simple: Antonios priority is the well-being of his family. For that, he needs money. The only way he could be persuaded to stay so far away from them, is the possibility of making a LOT of money out of this new situation, and also, to make SAFE money. That way, he could provide for his family in a more sustanaible and safe way. Cobras answer pleases him, and decides he is willing to try to stay as long as possible. In the medical exam, Delbert discovers several things about Antonios health: -He is fit and strong, due to his job. -His signs of poor nutrition deriver from the very fact that he often does not even eat, to save money, and lying to his sisters by telling them he has already had lunch/dinner on the go. -However, because of this job, he has had several broken bones over time. -His slightly damaged liver is a direct sign of a very hard stage of his past. This happened when Marta dumped him, leading him to severe alcoholism. Finally, in his interview, he doesnt really want Leah to dig very deep into his feelings. Thats why he tries to break the ice and change subject by keeping it low and flirting with her. But, when Leah talks about his family, all his guards go down. NOTE: His final sentence, for them, every sacrifice is worth it, may have more than one meaning... *wink* NOTE 2: I must mention that the blurred dialogue for Emilias (Cinderellas) part is meant to symbolize that Antonio is kinda in a trance after remembering Marta.
