Hello everyone!
Welcome to the annual MEP on my channel.
Last year the theme was homegrown rock where I used a rock song from my own country of New Zealand, this year it is dark electronica from South Africa!
I absolutely adore this band Acretongue, I discovered them on bandcamp and they have two albums coming out in Feb!
I always enjoy hosting a MEP on my channel to have an excuse to edit with my friends and this year I have made many new friends and editors who havent been in a MEP on my channel yet so I am pleased to introduce them to you.
I got a cool bunch of friends lemme tell ya.
This MEP focused on GMV dark aesthetic suiting the dark electronica genre, everyone gave it their all and I am very pleased how this came out.
This is the last upload on my channel for 2018 so Ill see you guys in an epic 2019 to come!

Yes, I know its fairy tale not tail it was deliberate to include that in the video lyrics as the anime is fairy tail. You get where I am coming from?
First time editing with the Fairy Tail anime, I think I did alright, it took me so long to find appropiate scenes but thanks to mutual friends I was able to spend hours just watching these episodes to find suitable clips for inspiration and to edit this video. I must say, its better than a few animes I have watched, I find that Gray is my fave character.

I had actually been working on this one for awhile, it took so long trying to find the best moments of Ezra that I could use.
As an editor, its extremely hard to edit with footage that you are not that familiar with or sometimes not even a fan of; but this anime I know is important to you - and I accepted the challenge to edit something that had meaning to you.
Just as you have meaning to me.
I know I have told you many of times, that you have always been a good friend to me, always been there for me even if I didnt ask for it; you are a giving person. An amazing person.

So yeah, this took me ages to make. I fell outta inspiration somtimes. Theres no real story behind this.
But what you should know is I had intended it to use your two fave FF girls in this video, in two seperate universes.
Tifa and Lenne are sisters in both worlds.
In one world, Lenne is young (Shown as Marlene) and Tifa is older, and the other one where Tifa is young (shown as Moogle girl) and Lenne is older.
They both refer the song to their younger sisters, making a journey to the otherside.
Unfortunately both of Lennes characters in the worlds fall victim to the fate of time.
