TREKKING IN NEPAL - EVEREST BASE CAMP TREKKING- DAY 2 - ACCLIMATIZATION AROUND NAMCHE BAZAAR Anil Mahato 2017-01-10 | TREKKING IN NEPAL, This is 2nd day of our EVEREST BASE CAMP TREKKING, we will try to get ACCLIMATIZE AROUND NAMCHE BAZAAR. It is the last big market you will see in your Everest Trekking at the altitude of 3440 meters (11380 ft). All climbers do shopping and have a good time at Namche Bazaar before or after from medicines to warm jackets to remaining climbers gears here. FEW THINGS TO DO IN NAMCHE BAZAAR SOLUKHUMBU NEPAL1. Go to Height of Sagarmatha National Park near the Army Camp at the top of Bazaar where you can see beautiful range of Himalayas, including Mt. Everest, Mt. Ama Dablam, Nuptse and much more.2. Trek up to Hotel Everest View Point at 3880 meters and have some nice cup of tea or coffee.3. On the way to trekking to Hotel Everest Viewpoint, you will see world's one of highest altitude airport, Syangboche Airport.4. Namche Bazaar itself is very beautiful and charming to walk around have drinks and coffee here and there. There are many beautiful restaurants, cafe with good music and mountaineers stories.5. Cafe 8848, this cafe shows the documentary at 3 PM every day in Namche Bazaar about Everest. They ask you to drink something for staying and watching. But it's a good time after doing the trek around Namche in the evening.6. Sherpa Museum, one wonderful Sherpa photographer has maintained an amazing museum of sherpa life and records of all climbers, photographs and beautiful picture and things of Sherpa. TREKKING IN NEPAL - EVEREST BASE CAMP TREKKING - DAY 5 - Dingboche Acclimatization Anil Mahato 2017-01-20 | 5th Day of EVEREST BASE CAMP TREKKING IN NEPAL - Today, we will be acclimatizing around 50150 Metres (16,450 ft) at the peaks nearby Dingboche while seeing the beautiful view of Mt. Ama Dablam, many beautiful mountains, and lakes. TREKKING IN NEPAL - EVEREST BASE CAMP TREKKING - DAY 4 - Tengboche to Dingboche Anil Mahato 2017-01-18 | 4th DAY of my EVEREST BASE CAMP TREKKING IN NEPAL from Tengboche to Dingboche which I did in October of 2016. There are many trekking routes in Nepali Himalayas, Everest Base Camp along with 3 passes, Annapurna Base Camp trekking, Langtang etc are quite a famous one. Seeing Everest from Kalapatthar was also one of my dream trekking which I did last year in October season. This is one of the trekking routes I suggest everyone do in their life. The sceneries and Himalayan life are quite exquisite. The Buddhist monastery of Tengboche is very famous, either you are a simple trekking person or climber of Everest, everyone does worship here for their successful trekking in the Everest region where people not only dream to see Mt. Everest but several other mountains and lakes. Gokyo lake is another famous destination among tourist.I had not finished my trekking and I see one helicopter came for rescuing one foreigner. I saw it is very common to get sick in Himalaya regions of Nepal while trekking especially if you are not used to high altitudes.As I started my trekking I started seeing beautiful rhododendron jungles, I could imagine how beautiful it will look when they all will be blooming in March, trekkers will enjoy more flora and fauna during that season.After trekking for about 45 minutes, soon I realized that I had forgotten my power bank for charging the camera if I want to continue filming further I must go back again, so I did and got delayed in my trekking by about 2 hours. I got a bit more tired, though.When I saw the first time the Mt. Ama Dablam on the river side, it was something I had seen only in pictures, I had even many postcards and pictures of that place and I was so happy to be there in real life.I kept trekking and I started seeing more Himalayas and moutains are visible, sun started getting stronger and so does the warmth. Soon I started seeing beautiful buddhist villages including Pangboche. Life style around was just beyond I could imagine very beautiful.After lunch at Pangboche, I felt a bit sleepy but I continued the trek and further, I go, the beauty of the landscape was getting ever more beautiful. By the evening I reached to my destination hotel in Dingboche which is at 4400 meters altitude.Tomorrow's schedule is to get acclimatize around Dingboche and climb at high as I can. TREKKING IN NEPAL - EVEREST BASE CAMP TREKKING - DAY 3 - Namche to Tengboche Anil Mahato 2017-01-16 | This is 3rd day of EVEREST BASE CAMP TREKKING IN NEPAL which we start from Namche Bazaar at morning 7:30 AM reached to Tengboche by evening.Day 1- youtu.be/Asa66zEX7eg - Kathmandu to Lukla to Namche BazaarDay 2 - youtu.be/vERDOBUewpc - Acclimatization around Namche Bazaar We walked along the hillside of the river Doodh Koshi while watching the beautiful Himalayas, Yaks bell ringing all around. Greenery, Trees, flowers, waterfalls, river sound, Buddhist, beautiful people are quite a good way of trekking. The whole trail is full of tea houses and snacks corners, so one doesn't need to worry about tea, coffee, water etc. But yes, it's not everywhere which comes in a couple of hours of trekking every time.Namche is at 4000 meters altitude while Tengboche is at 3900 meters height. So you will feel much colder compared to Namche Bazaar. There are not many hotels, the only couple of hotels in Tengboche, Solukhumbu Nepal since most of the lands around are occupied by Sagarmatha National Park. So, on peak season time it could be difficult to get a room in the hotel. You can pre-confirm in Namche or you can actually go further down like half an hour to stay at the hotel too. TREKKING IN NEPAL HIMALAYAS - EVEREST BASE CAMP TREKKING - DAY 1 | KATHMANDU TO NAMCHE BAZZAR Anil Mahato 2017-01-08 | TREKKING IN NEPAL HIMALAYAS - This is the 4th day of my MOUNT EVEREST BASE CAMP TREKKING, but officially the first day as I reached to LUKLA late by 3 days. I reached to Lukla around 11 AM from Kathmandu by Sita Air which was about 30 minutes of flight. Luka Airport is considered one of the most dangerous airports in the world.I started my journey by praying at the Big Buddha Statue which is at the top Hill , right above the Tenzing-Hillary airport of Lukla. BREAKFAST IN LUKLAPeople say food in Himalaya is expensive but not yet. In Lukla I ate two eggs, one thukpa Himalayan noodle and tea which cost me a total of 2.2 US$. The cost of one water bottle of 1 liter is 1$.PASS CHECK FOR SAGARMATHA NATIONAL PARKIf you are foreigner you need a pass, since I have a Nepal passport, I don't need any pass or entry permit. There is a checkpoint or you can buy also it will cost you 20US$. BEAUTIFUL SCENERIESOn the way, you will explore beautiful sceneries, green big moutains, waterfalls, Tibetan stupas, Buddhist maane, which are you supposed to turn from right to left. You will see Buddhiest holy mantra inscribed in all big stones with black and white.PHAKDINGAfter about 3 hours of trekking, you will reach Phakding. The height of this place is around 2650 meters. All the tourist are supposed to stay here for acclimatization. But I can't afford this day because some of my friend who flew already by helicopter are waiting for me in Namche. So I must keep walking. But please you don't do that.Manjo, SolukumbuAfter one hour of trekking from Phakding , you will reach Manjo, again beautiful landscape in the foothill of Himalayas. One could also plan to stay here for acclimatization instead of Phakding.Jorselle, SolukhumbuThe last village you will find before Namche Bazaar is Jorselle. There are around 20-25 houses. You can also make your night stay here, it is almost at the bank of the river. One could hear very well the strong current of river. I kept walking further thought it was already very late. After Jorselle it's steep up till Namche which is at 3440 meters.JORSELLE TO NAMCHE BAZZARIt was already dark before I started climbing the Namche hill. This is one of the difficult for climbers since it's steep up. There is one famous and beautiful two suspension bridge one above other, you see that scene in EVEREST MOVIE which was released in 2016. It had got so dark by the time I reached there. But by the grace of god, I met few potters boys there and I hiked up till Namche with them. They don't have torch light but I still surprise how could they climb there in dark, in the jungle without light. I almost died, my energy has all finished and it was a bit scary too since everything is new for me. I know nothing. All I wanted is somehow to climb up. Believe, Hardwork and consisitent, I reached to Namche at night to the place where I was planning to reach. 3 FRUSTRATING DAYS at KATHMANDU AIRPORT | EVEREST BASE CAMP TREKKING - Day 1,2,3,4 | Anil Mahato Anil Mahato 2017-01-07 | One must fly to LUKLA AIRPORT from Kathmandu Airport before starting EVEREST BASE CAMP TREKKING. Weather conditions in Lukla are very unpredictable all the time, I had to wait 3 full days before I could manage to fly Lukla from Kathmandu Airport. These videos contain all the footages I filmed at Kathmandu Airport and some air time videos.LUKLA AIRPORTThe airport is situated in Solukumbu district of Nepal at the height of 2860 meters (9383 Feet). This is also known as Tenzing–Hillary Airport. The base for all the trekkers, mountaineer, climbers before starting or after finishing the climbing around Everest & other surrounding the Himalayas.FIRST DAY:I had just arrived from Darjeeling, India the night before and my plane was supposed to fly in the morning 8:30 AM. I reached to the airport at 7 AM, board the plane and even flew on the air for about 15 minutes. We were about to reach Lukla and radio in cockpit says, Lukla airport got bad weather and can't be landed. So we come back to Kathmandu Airport and wait in the boarding hall till evening if the airport in Lukla, Solukhumbu get's clear. At last, flight got canceled.DAY 2: I go to the airport again early morning with the hope to fly Lukla, but again that didn't happen as only first two flights could only fly. And if your flight is a pending flight then you got later and later and later.At the evening I went to Thamel to meet my friend Phunjo Lama, who is the first Nepali girl to climb 8000 meters + summit without oxygen, she is professional international mountain rescuer, the first girl again from Nepal.I also met many another friend there from many different countries.DAY 3:The third day again I went to Kathmandu Domestic Airport in hurry with a dream to fly to Lukla but that didn't happen again. Most of the people started getting frustrated. Those who could afford flew by helicopter, and those who couldn't keep waiting. The cost of the helicopter is about 300 US$ per individual. Basically, 5 people can come in a helicopter and all book a helicopter and share the cost.DAY 4 :7 AM, I was at my cousin's house with plan to go Lukla by bus via Jiri that means 3 more days of trekking. But suddenly a call from a friend who works in the same Sita Airlines comes and ask me if I want to fly, there is one ticket cancel, they can replace me. So I immediately ran to the airport without evening washing my face or brushing. And yes, I finally flew to Lukla. Last October, I was traveling around Darjeeling, this video I filmed when I was returning back to Kathmandu to make my Everest Base Trek. This video will show you how surroundings, lifestyle, animals, vegetations, forests everything between these two places. Beautiful thick and dense forest maintained by West Bengal Forest Department is just amazing while huge tea garden hills of ILAM, fikkal is also very eye catching. Since it was raining during unexpectedly, so I couldn't enjoy much of Darjeeling but it was surely a nice experience.Things I can't forget during that trip:- Dense well maintained forest and beautiful roads during that rainy time.- Beautiful Tea Gardens of Ilam- Milk Men carrying milk on Horses going door to door for selling.- Chhurpi Selling in Fickle, Ilam - Tea fields areas of Damak, Birtamod.- Beautiful Rice fields and our bus running in the middle of it.- Colorful dresses and energy of Dashain festival during.Darjeeling, today lies in West Bengal state of India, which once used to be Nepalese region.
