In this video we highlight replication sync functionality when running a local instance of DocumentDB, using the open source Kubernetes operator for the database, coupled with a cloud deployment in Azure DocumentDB. This video also highlights the ability to continue with the on-premise deployment of DocumentDB without disruptions even when the replication sync is broken, and simply resuming the sync to the cloud when the sync service is back up and running.
