Ladies and Gentlemen, this is perhaps without a shadow of a doubt a remix of Az Yet's hit song, "Hard To Say I'm Sorry". But just to rephrase it, it's actually a mash-up of Az Yet's acapella song with the instrumental Version of Boyz II Men's On Bended Knee. It is the first (and only?) mashup of Az Yt and Boyz II Men, and the reason why this mash-up came to be is that Marc Nelson had some good history with both Boyz II Men and Az Yet.

Boyz II Men: Nelson attended the Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts, in Pennsylvania. There, he and his friend Nathan Morris, joined later by Wanya Morris, Shawn Stockman, and Michael McCary, formed the singing group Unique Attraction. After hearing New Edition's song "Boys to Men" on the radio one evening, the group changed their name to Boyz II Men. In 1989, the group met Michael Bivins and began making arrangements to sign the group to a major label and begin recording. In the interim, the group encountered delays in recording their album. Nelson grew impatient and left the group and began recording his debut solo project.

Az Yet: Through Babyface, Nelson met the four members of the group Az Yet and was added to the line-up as second lead vocalist; the group was signed to LaFace Records. As a member of Az Yet, Nelson found success. The group's self-titled debut album, released in 1996, went platinum. A single on the album, "Last Night", went gold and reached #9 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Their second single, "Hard To Say I'm Sorry" did even better, going platinum and reaching #8 on the Hot 100. Nelson left Az Yet due to "personal differences" and began writing intensely.

Years Later: After a successful solo career, Nelson reunited with Az Yet in 2008 and also with Boyz II Men for one night only in 2013. Nelson is currently a member of Az Yet with Kenny, Dione, and Claude, and plans to make their comeback tour and release their second album this year.

For those of you who haven't seen or heard this mashup before, it was a Facebook exclusive video and it was approved by Az Yet and their manager Monica J. McKnight. For all I know, one day, Az Yet will share the stage with Boyz II Men.
