The Ayahuasca Foundation has offered its Curandero Initiation Course since 2007. Over 800 students have completed the course, where they learned the foundational principles of the Shipibo plant medicine tradition.
This ayahuasca training course is centered around doing two plant dietas, one with the rare and divine noya rao tree, and the other dieta with one of the following plants: bobinsana, chiric sanango, marusa, chullachaqui, or padma rao.
Students learn many Shipibo icaros, make their own ayahuasca, prepare, experience, and administer plant remedies and treatments, and develop deep personal relationships with the spirits of plants.
