"I'm going on a journey, to find eternity."
This is my video for the first round of the Shipping Wars, a mv contest where you defend your favorite OTP. I have so many favorite OTPs that I had a hard time choosing, but I decided to use Aya and Kyle for this contest. For this round I am against starstruckbromance. Good luck to everyone participating! ;)
*SPOILERS for 3rd Birthday in both the video and description*
The theme/challenge of this first round was to use a song that we think fits best our OTP. It took me forever to find a song for Aya and Kyle, because they have a complicated relationship in 3rd Birthday, and I found a lot of songs that went with them...but I could not choose. So I finally decided on A Thousand Years. One of the studios I am currently in is hosting a MEP with this song, and when I heard it I thought about Aya and Kyle.
Now why I choose this song for them. Well, mostly because of Kyle's quote that I used at the beginning. When Kyle says he's going to find eternity, he's actually talking about Aya, because their love for each other is eternity, and she, for him, is eternity.
'I love you for a thousand years' I think this sentence characterizes well their relationship because their wedding vows and promises were that their love would be eternal and overcome death.
In some ways I believe that both Aya and Kyle died and got lost in time. This is how I understand and see the end of the game (the storyline of the 3rd Birthday is complicated, so I am sorry if I misunderstand the ending) but this is how I see it, they are both gone, but their love for each other will always be there, for a thousand years (and the rest of eternity) xD
This song also talked about promises (what better promises than a wedding of course)
It also describes well Aya's emotions. Especially when she is pointing her gun at Kyle. She has doubts, which 'suddenly go away somehow'.
