Didier Cottin joined the French National Police to make a positive impact. After an officer-involved shooting injured him and claimed the life of his partner, he leaned on those around him to move forward. The experience taught him that perhaps the positive impact he was destined to make was through providing support to colleagues who had been injured in the line of duty.
