Axle tube leaking VW Beetle. This video goes into detail on how to fix a VW Beetle axle tube leak. This video is on a 1963 Beetle with a 67/68 year axle/axle tube. There were rivets/spot welds that were leaking. Unfortunately I had to pull the axle tube off, clean it up, and weld where necessary. It’s been a couple of days since I’ve serviced the transaxle, and so far no leaks!
