This is easily one of the most depressing themes I've ever heard in a video game. Everything in this theme emphasizes the tragedy felt from both sides after Emmeryn sacrificed herself to try and stop the war between Ylisse and Plegia, to the point of this theme lacking an ablazed version for enemy encounters.
