In this video Maxx shows us how to internally mod a Nerf Hammershot and what to do if you break stuff. He also shows us a major structural mod that makes the Hammershot look amazing and will take your larping to the next level.
***Any form of modding to Nerf blasters should be done at your own risk. It's very easy to cut yourself and even easier to break or lose pieces of the blaster, causing it to be inoperable. Be sure to watch Part II of this video to see the external modifications and the finished product.
You'll want to decide if this blaster is to be used for Sci-Fi, Post-Apocalyptic, Modern or Western Genre. Because based on the genre, it'll help you decide where to cut the arm section off. For Sci-Fi or Post-Apocalyptic Fantasy, I'd suggest leaving the small tube/energy cell section. For Modern or Western genre, I'd suggest removing that section.
