So yeah, a couple weeks ago I invented a little toy which I ended up calling "AWE Lights" (Aqua Wave Effect).
The basic idea is to read water waves by hanging anodes over top of the surface of a pool of water, and placing a cathode in the water, this way water waves will bring up the water level, and close the circuit. This signal can then be used for any purpose.
Personally I theorize that if the water, environment, shape of container, etc.. we all controlled precisely, the resulting waves could be read as an output, input could be anything from sound waves, to blowing on it, hitting it.
I am dying to try adding jellow powder. I wonder how it will affect the conductivity and resistivity of the water.
These videos were made at KTV (an electro club in Shanghai JingAn District)
