Smartflower is a fully integrated, all-in-one solar system that can live anywhere. Designed to be a plug-and-play system, smartflower makes solar simple. All it takes is a quick setup by one of our installers and you’ll be producing clean energy for your home or business. And if you ever have to move it, smartflower can be easily packed up and moved to a new site.
Unlike solar panels, which are normally fixed into place on rooftops, Smartflower is kinetic, allowing it to position itself to maximize sun exposure. In the morning, when the sun rises, its panels fan out, creating a flower-like arrangement, which then rotates throughout the day in response to sunlight. In its dormant, night-time position, it undergoes a cleaning process, minimizing the sunlight interference that dust build-up can present. Meant to be consumer-friendly, the system can be installed in any open space then easily plugged in. Already it has picked up the endorsement of Austria’s own Arnold Schwarzenegger, who said: “I mean, what a brilliant idea—you put this in front of your house, then you plug it in—not installation, nothing—just plug and play.”
Austria’s SmartFlower is unfurling its objectively stunning 4kWh-equivalent dual axis tracker in its U.S. launch, a few months ahead of the first U.S. installation scheduled for November, says Alexander Swatek, the managing partner of the Vienna-based company.
The petal-shaped monocrystalline panels are encased in 2.0 mm glass so strong and thin that it can be flexed with the hand.
Two Austrian companies have developed an intelligent solar charging system for electric vehicles with 18 m2 of solar panels, which generate up to 5,500 kWh per year. The service is available from 15,000 euros, including installation.
‘Smartflower POP-e‘ is a photovoltaic system “all in one” module that incorporates a quick recharge batteries for electric cars, electric motorcycles and electric bikes. Your 18m2 of solar panels fan out each day to generate an average of 5.000Kwh/year.
In addition, the power generated can be consumed directly, and the excess energy, if any, can be fed into the grid. The power output power is up to 22KW. It has a nominal capacity of 2,31Kwp.
The ‘Smartflower POP-e‘ system has the same smart features that the rest of his brothers ‘smartflower POP‘ or ‘smartflower POP +‘:
– smart use: this system all-in-one, easy to install, is bolted to the flooring or directly on the ground.
– smart cleaning: every time unfolds and folds, ‘smartflower POP’ automatically self-cleaning, removing dust from the plates, which reduce the production of electricity.
– smart safety: during operation, the sensors constantly monitor wind speed. From 54 km / h, ‘smartflower POP’ retracts automatically to prevent damage. As the wind dies down, the installation is redeployed, also automatically.
– smart cooling: the ‘smartflower POP’ modules have an excellent retroventilación, so its cooling to 10 ° C is superior to traditional facilities on the roof 20. With this cooling performance is increased between 5% and 10% compared to other facilities.
