I've been chipping away at three different videos (Lost, Chuck, Community) on and off for a couple weeks. Earlier tonight I watched the pilot episode of 'Awake' and got instantly inspired to do something with it. Its been a while! In the words of Moriarty, Did you miss me?
The theme for this one is a real mix of everything (interpersonal-wise), surface-level and deeper. Its open to the idea of the five stages of grief (denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance). As with a lot of my work, I like to pour in the emotion and let the viewer unpack that however it might apply.
I started this video and had it probably two-thirds complete back in 2014. Been chipping away at it, chopping and changing parts as I revisited it maybe once or twice a year. I recently re-engaged with a couple of determined editing sessions. Every line of dialogue in this has its reason, but the whole thing could be a total mess. Because Ive seen it over 5 years now, I genuinely dont know if its one of my better or worse videos.

An Eko vid backed with Giacchino music.
I dont think many people disliked Mr Eko. I would have liked him to be in the show a bit longer myself, but Adewale wanted to go and his final episode was an awesome send off to the character.
I did not ask for the life that I was given, but it was given nonetheless. And with it, I did my best. One of the great LOST moments.

Roger reflects on the mistakes hes made with Ben, and this exchange really hits home with Kate in relation to Aaron.
