I wrote a new song finally! Except it's not mine. This is Awadama Fever by Babymetal off their new album Metal Resistance. I saw them live last month and it was an absolutely surreal experience. That inspired me to come up with this!
It's been a while since I've written something in Mario Paint, but this is completely unlike anything I've done before. I've written part of the song in FL Studio 12 (my first experience with it), mostly because I wasn't too impressed with the drums on Mario Paint (this song is HEAVY on the drums). The drums were acquired from SampleRadar. The other effects are Hypersaw, Formant 2, and some other alien soundy thing which I can't remember the name of.
Done almost completely by ear; some of the chords I had to look up.
The solo is a bit strange and different, but I think it turned out okay, especially the latter half. The vocals are damn near impossible to reproduce in that section X_X
Audacity's wah wah effect was used in the third verse on Mario Paint. Audacity was also used to merge and sync the two songs together.
This took almost the entirety of one weekend to write. And I still haven't a clue as to what this song supposed to be about.
Guitar Hero? Probably. Eventually.
