Labor Day is supposed to help America's workers recharge. But one long weekend won't fix a workforce that's running on empty. In fact, American worker burnout is now at a seven-year high, yet we continue to treat it with the same tired advice: take a vacation, try a bubble bath, drink more water and just relax. According to Certified Integrative Trauma Practitioner and emotional regulation expert Jen Guidry, that's exactly why so many people return from weekends and vacations just as exhausted as when they left.
