Today was a short flight with two approaches into KOXB Ocean City. I'm IFR current thanks to Ocean Aviation and their full motion sim. I hand flew all the approaches on the sim in a 172 steam gauges and a Garmin 530, talk about chug and plug. Today I decided I really needed to push the buttons on my avionics package; Garmin 480/Stec 60-2/Aspen 1000 PFD.

FYI - NAV selection would not do anything for the glideslope on an LNAV approach. Glideslope is on the pilot to follow.
