It’s been ten years since Hey Brother was released as one of the lead singles on True, an album that came to shape a new era of electronic dance music. In this video featuring footage from the True Tour, Avicii shares a glimpse of the story behind making the song:
“Hey Brother was the first one I started mixing genres with, and when we wrote the song from start to end in like a day, I grew in love with the guitars and the way they sounded, and I realized how good I thought that song was.”
