Ways to maintain the young earth:

1) Affirm the speed of light was faster than the current speed of light, either in the past or in "deep space"

2) Affirm that there are stars we see that not only do not exist, but never have existed

3) I'm currently not convinced that time dilation gets around the problem but I am open to persuasion.
