The 0-0-5 Elite Defender is not the only tier 5 with 1 pierce. The Avatar of Wrath can only pop 1 bloon with each thorn if not buffed by other monkeys. Other than these 2, every tier 5 monkey that does damage has a built in way of popping more than 1 bloon per projectile.
