oh God... I'm finally done with this monstrosity
months working on this and it was painful ;-;
yes... MONTHS! I felt like a total ass when I kept asking for extensions because of my slow lacking of inspo, so today, I just sat down and edited like a crazy person and I dont think it turned out too bad :)

ok.. so this is for ZeldaAwesome's and DiamantTiger's #TT14 and this round was called "The Copy-Cat" (and I was thinking of Kise tbh) so what we had to do was draw inspiration from our opponent, in my case, it was heymonwebejammin :)

ok so Trish wrote a detailed description of how she drew inspiration from me, so it's only fitting that I do the same for her :)

okay... so what I noticed from watching her videos were:

1. MEDIA/CLIP CHOICES: she uses a lot of fanart in her videos (youtube.com/watch?v=xeWUb20G41A) so I tried to do the same but I couldnt find any except for that last one cuz I fail so much so I ended up just masking freeze frames xD
but that was inspired by this:

as for clip choices, I noticed that she use more "slow-moving" clips (if that makes sense xD) so I tried to use more of those type of clips too :)

2. COLOURING: Her colourings are generally brighter more contrasted than mine and they are beautiful *-* and she was SO KIND for giving me her colouring :) which I later changed a little and mixed it with mine (omg hana, what are you making? a cake? xD)

3. TYPOGRAPHY: she usually uses more full phrases for typography, meaning one whole sentence as one text media (as opposed to me who doesnt xD) so I tried to do that and I hope it worked :P
I also drew inspiration for her typography from the Oreki + Chitanda video (see below) and how she used split screen for it and that's what I tried :)
the texts in that video also looked more metallic(?) so that what I did for most of the texts :))

4. EFFECTS: she's more pro at effect than I am xD I seriously suck SO BAD at effects it hurts lol
but I did notice that she tends to use split screens and masking :)

5.TRANSITIONS: what I noticed here was her using a lot of linear fades (especially for texts), flashes and motion blurs, I tried to stay true to her but I am so bad at motion blurs... so most of the transitions are linear fades and flashes :)
