In this Avata 360 obstacle avoidance + RTH test, I push the drone through some very demanding real-world conditions to see how well it actually handles obstacles and Return to Home.
For the obstacle avoidance part, I fly it through a very challenging environment with thin branches, tight spacing and almost no room for error.
Then I test Return to Home from a takeoff location with challenging GNSS conditions - and that part did NOT go the way I expected.
