Originally formed on AV's porch in one of Edmonton's inner-city neighborhoods, AV and the Inner City is an all-women vocal ensemble with a powerful message to share. Inspired by traditional gospel choirs, the group aims to bring people together in community through shared experiences and a love of music.
AV and the Inner City stopped by CKUA Studios for an intimate a cappella performance of two songs—Runnin' Outta Places and Dinner With the Lord—along with an interview with host Grant Stovel. Here they are performing "Running' Outta Places", a cappella in CKUA's Studio A.
