This is my first run through with the Auza Wave Packets. They call it that because it incorporates a really interesting function generator and frequency sweeper, that when combined create "packets" of waves that include a variety of shapes and timbres. It's definitely not just a VCO with an envelope/VCA tacked on, particularly when you consider it's also useful as a modulator and function generator when not used at audio rate.
In fact the interaction between the time segments, function depth sliders, and frequency sweeping is sufficiently complicated that I won't be trying to explain much in this video. I don't think I understand it. You're better off reading the manual: auzaaudio.com
But it sounds very nice.
Sequencer: Stochastic IG. Reverb: Valhalla. That's pretty much it.
