It was a lovely dry and sunny day today so I headed out for a little ride along some of my favourite byways. This one is Wolvens Lane at Westcott in Surrey, and a very nice ride through the Autumn Forest. I tried my best not to splatter myself in mud, because I wanted to go for lunch in a Country Pub. Luckily my pub of choice had a whole pile of muddy Wellies in the porch, so I had a lovely Gammon Ham with Egg and Chips, washed down by the best Real Ale I've ever tasted. The microphone adapter for my Hero 8 places the mic in a position where it picks up all the clatter from the engine and none of the delicious exhaust tone. I'll have an experiment to try and get the sound like it was with my old Hero 6.
