LYRICS IN DESCRIPTION
A poem and some relaxing music to usher in the changing of the seasons.
we accept the inevitable
as summer recedes
we accept
but what do we accept
begrudgingly
middle age
old age
until finally.........
but there comes the season
a time to gaze
to right and left
to take
what we may
from the day
as take we must
and we do
we take in the colours
we take in the freshness of the crisp morning air
we take in the leaves
so recently parted from their trees
we accept
we accept the shading
of the eve
so premature
that we believe
a celestial hand
has shaped this scene
and it has
and the gold
the autumn gold
for as we shuffle
through the cold
and turn our collars
up we know
the autumn gold
is ours to hold
but hold it now..........
